... Isnt that great news!?

Mix half a dozen existing titles, shake hard, and whoops, yet

another new boot! ...Cdr?

Improved sound you ask? Well, ofcourse, these little sh*ts dont

save on quality!

What is this sh*t?

The only new bootlegs I need are the Madison and Fort Baxter titles. Still listening to "Let It Roll" several times a week. It's not just a collection of songs, it's an album. The short running time is actually a good thing. OK, OK! I know that was off topic...

Not a CDr but a factory pressed disc - not that that necessarily makes it great of course!!

There's something fishy about this release.

What makes me think that Captain Haddock isn't a descendant of Baxter? ;-)

Hope so. The Any day now rehearsal sounds awful in the version we've got, yet is a wonderful gem.

No, I don't.

It used to be on our tv, though.

Are my jokes getting so obscure that they need explaining now ?

i will be 100% forgetting about this rip off and crap CD.!

Fri Sep 08, 2006 12:15 pm

Improved sound, hahaha. You naive believer... was anything improved on previous two releases in series, except that many tracks were downloaded from net - Keiths website - in mp3 low bitrate form and then decompressed to wav ?

Gone are the days when we used to get new imports every month offering us a quality new release rather than a rehash of old stuff. 1996-1999 was great!

Not to believe there are enough stupid people to buy such releases.

Me per example

I still think LET IT ROLL was nothing to write home about. The running time is irrelivant. My Way is still a dull version even without echoe and the majority of the other tracks are heard elsewhere. MADISON have out some nice releases though it has to be said.

Fri Sep 08, 2006 9:30 pm

LET IT ROLL was a nice collection to me but 15 extra minutes will help greatly I guess. Running time of 46 minutes is a bit too little nowadays...

Promised Land On Let It Roll is the best version I've heard.
Every word is heard clearly and the band ROCK.It's a great
Cd for the car stereo

For me as a 50/60 fan I love the CD Let it roll.
This is my most played CD since it's out. I think I played it about 20 times, and many more to come.

Unfortunately there are still fans who will buy releases such as the Captain Haddock, if they are going to stop buying this crap, they won't release garbage like this anymore.

let it roll is one of the best cds thats come out.
just hope ftd leave in the all the studio chatter when the do the 1970s albums.
its cool to hear on let it roll.
my way 1971 sounds the best on let it roll, it's the orignal mix not a goofy remix.

Sat Sep 09, 2006 2:52 pm

yes folks let it roll certainly IS one of the best sounding cd's around and will be going round on my cd player for quite a while yet!
