Thanks everyone. I'm always looking for lesser known to not known tunes (but are still decent songs) to incorporate in our local gigs. If anyone has ideas I'd be completely interested to hear them.

I really wanted to play this for you guys so the pros out there could analyze my guitarist. To be honest, with all his years of playing, he had only heard on James Burton, but never heard him play. I had been telling him for months, that when he (my guitarist) picks up his Fender he reminds me of a JB from the 70's.
I wish Elvis would have recorded this song. As a matter of fact I wish he would have done alot of Merle Haggard stuff.

(pay no attention to the bullshit audience overdub. The sound guy recorded us direct and since it sounded so dry with no bottom end, he added audience on top of what was already there..)

I probably screwed up the words or was making faces at someone or both.

man can you imagine if Elvis was Alive during 9-11-01..wonder if he would have sang an "Angry American" song or if he would have done something more "classy.."

I am posting this because i plan on trying to become a professional singer/songwriter. My voice i feel, is a mixture of my 3 fave artists Elvis, Bob Dylan, and Jim Morrison from the Doors, plus a mixture of the new pop singers of today, with a touch of me, making what i feel is my own sound. Here is a link to some of my other songs i ahve recorded, though my voice has constantly developed since i recorded these songs, so its gonna sound less good than it really should. But anywayz, here it is, give me your opinion on how some of these songs sound.

... Now this is my chance, in finally gettin my singing voice on the

radio!... It was recorded on new years night, 1998. Its me , my

neighbours, Fred and Connie and a guy named Erik, and his dog

named "King"... there might have been an escort lady, blowing

a trumpet... but Im not 100% sure...? We was all drunk as a skunk

that night, and the following 24 hours... I have to dig up this

cassette first, ofcourse, but Im sure you will appreciate us singing

Elvis medleys that night! Theres a, somewhat risque version of

Wear My D*ck Around Your Neck... but its rocking like crazy!
