FTD Ordering

#281249

Post by Guest »

I usually buy all the FTDs I currently don't have when I am in Memphis in January and August. What is the best place(s) to order them online?

I would suggest amazon.com.

(However the best amazon site imho is amazon.co.uk. They have the largest catalogue, but the package is then sent from Britain).

I live in the U.S. and have found that this site is the cheapest, including shipping and handling. Shop Elvis can't, or won't, even beat the price.

For Elvis CD Collectors. The site you're posting on.

Why support Amazon? They aren't Elvis fans. Support the Elvis clubs and dealers. They need your loot more than Amazon do.

People swear by this Web site (though it's still a bit of a well-kept secret).

I've got a U.S. dealer I've worked with for years now, and I'm sticking with him. He gets me the discs as fast as humanly possible, and that's the most important thing for me, though it costs a few bucks extra.

I do have to ask, Why is ShopElvis charging $7.00 for shipping a single disc, In no way shape or form does it cost that much within the U.S. even using priority mail.

I've used worldwideelvis.com for years. The service is excellent. I've never had a single problem. The prices are comparable with Elvis.com (you pay a bit more for the CD's but less for S&H).

Not as fast as Moody's dealer though. You might want to think about switching.

I always order my FTDs once a year. Usually during the Thanksgiving,
Christmas holidays. I group everthing I want from the previous year into one shipment. More bang for the buck.

..Relatively $peaking, Jerry....

Shop Elvis hiked their prices in the last year, so I've sworn them off and moved over to FECC's always-cheaper service, when I'm not trying to find discounted copies on-line on occasion. Unfortunately, on the "used" market, lately prices are going up closer to $40 (excluding shipping) and not down as is or was the norm.

Buying through FECC is very easy and not a well kept secret. Simply send an email to the administrators. Willem and Claude will take good care of you. They are the best and provide excellent service. I have used them for many years now - and they are the cheapest that I know in the US.

Agreed, Claude is my source and even though I don't get the CDs until the end of the month usually, the price and level of service is worth it for me.

Well said. Yes, there's a slight delay, but I rather wait a few more days to get excellent. Claude is simply fantastic and has been since the first day I corresponded with him.

And what payment method(s) does FECC accept for their fine, low-cost FTD service?

Shop Elvis (http://www.shopelvis.com), eFashion, Graceland's outlet for Elvis' CDs, etc., shipped all three of the latest FTD CDs today (July 10th) via UPS with a tracking number.

The cost for each FTD CD is $29.95; however, members of Graceland's "Insiders" Club get a 10% discount, so members actually get them for $26.95 each plus postage. I have not found a less expensive source for FTD CDs in the U.S.A.

After some initial "growing pains" eFashions does a first rate job and now packs the CDs in a large, over-sized box with plenty of packing so that they always arrive in MINT condition.

So, for U.S.A. fans I know of no reason to get them elsewhere.

Still, not sure about that. Mike C? What do you say to 'Train's challenge?

To say nothing of another source or two...
