When Elvis is in the helicopter with Ann-Margaret in VLV, he is wearing a cap. Cue the next shot and the cap is gone...then it's back again!!! Regarding the boat "acccident" in "Girls, girls, girls"; I believe it was left in the film bacause it looked so dramatic, although it wasn't meant to happen!

Apparently Elvis saw the bulge in his pants himself at test-screenings of the movie and said "It sticks out like a sore thumb !".
