I read somewhere that this will make the UK record books as the longest gap between a recording being made & its UK chart debut.
I thought there must be others, but That's All Right charted in 2004 [50 years after] and this one was recorded in 1956, so appears 51 years after !
Anyone know of anything to beat it ?
Laurel & Hardy, maybe ?
[Unlikely, they charted in 1975, so even if their song was from 1935, it would only be 40 years].
If they got their act together & released the 'new' Baby, Let's Play House single, and it reached the UK charts this year, it would take the record with 53 years [or maybe 54] !
