Just got my official copy of this DVD in last night.
Even tho I had a sampler months ago, since then there were many
improvements done for the official release.
I must say I am very impressed for a number of reasons, the editing,
the quality, the audio, the press conference (that I never get tired of watching),
slide show.....all in all a must see and a essential DVD needed for ones collection.
If you can track down a copy you won't be disappointed, just as long as your
aware we are talking 8mm footage here, footage does still vary in quality. But,
none the less, until someone else has access to master prints of this material,
this is as good as it gets !
I will say, if I have any complaint about this release, it would only be, that the
logo is pasted on the footage throughout the DVD, however after a while,
One does not even take notice that it is even there.

I loved this release too.... as long as you know what to expect quality wise you will not be disappointed....great to have the whole afternoon show....even with some visuals missing....I just thought it was a real thrill!

I am not worried about the financial situation of bootleggers. The number of bootlegs released indicates they make enough money. Or, even better - as is very common in the Springsteen community - they are made not-for-profit "by fans for fans". But in the Elvis world, it seems to be about money and sales...
Let's get a deluxe Blu-Ray with "Elvis On Tour", too! A release that has unrelased footage, not merely the original movie minus Johnny B!!
