I just wanted to add the image quality of the video is way above average for fan filmed footage.Its a nice release.

It's probably the same quality as most 8mm fan footage - just that we tend to see multi generation copies transferred from VCD and then going through the same multi gerneration copying all over again.

The resolution / grain concentration of 16mm was good enough to film On Tour in so 8mm should be no less than half of that.
There are great examples on Elvis By The Presleys of just how good 8mm footage can be, even though much of that used in that is now 40 years old.

Haruo is in the same position of having the original film so hence it appears better than what many of us only ever got on VCD tranfers of poor VHS tapes of other 8mm fan shot footage.

The footage in question was filmed by Haru .( from japan ) The film is good to watch -. (just abit fast) . its a good piece of film . A rarity in its own right .
Great to see Elvis at this time .


i hope that there are more footage from these shows around .

yeah is good quality for a 8mm footage but a bit too far from Elvis.
I prefer the close up 8 mm footage where you can see his face expresions

The quality of picture is very good for fan filmed footage.

The sound was mixed pretty good to make some awesome
concert footage !!

Ahhh, lets not forget about The King On Tour 1970 - '71 as well from EWJ. Some really good quality footage on that one as well!

Haven't seen that one yet Matt, but I definitley will take your word on it. Man i've got to start focusing back on the footage !!
