I`m new on this, but I hope I come to the right place. Maby my spelling in english is not all that good, but I hope you understand. About the DVD last 24 hours, can anybody clear this question: is Elvis singing in the DVD ? I know that he is not supposed to, but I think that it really sounds like him in the small pieces through the film. What makes me a little confused is that little piece of a song, about half an hour into the DVD, some of the words is" I`d be lost without you`r love ". I dont know that song, but I think that the voice sounds very much like Elvis. Who has a voice that close?

No, it's not Elvis. The songs are sung by an Elvis - soundalike.

That actually goes: "
I'd be lost without you" but I reckon you could be right.

You are right, it is not The reason I`m living, the tune is much different, and in there the words is "I`d be lost without you" as you say. There is actually 2 lines of the song that is sung about half an hour into the DVD and all the words are " My darling you are home to stay, I`d be lost without your love". It sounds like a good song and sounds very much like a early or mid 60 Elvis. I hope to find out that Elvis has actually been singing that song, but maby he hasn`t !

Okay Karlos, I will get back later and see what you come up with. I´ll just say that I don`t think that the the voice in the small parts of songs in the DVD is the same one as on the CD.

Hi there - sorry to but in but can I ask - is this DVD actually worth getting? Its one of those that I see frequently in the shops but always bypass.
Thanks in advance,
Pete

I think the majority of it, at least some of the clips of people interviewed is lifted from more expensive packages. I watched a few bits of it and realised I'd already really seen it as part of another chapter in another package, maybe it was Ultimate Collection or something.

There is some Elvis music on the DVD,but they are "The Hayride" recordings.
I got bought this DVD a few weeks ago.
Larry Gellar, somebody I usually like, made me cringe on this DVD,it looks like he's auditioning for a Soap Opera.
Not a great DVD.
