Having said that from what I gather I could have downloaded the songs free and made my own CD!!
I think this will be a nice release for the non internet savvy fans - to be honest I am pretty internet aware, but did not know about this website where the tracks are available until the controversy erupted on the forums.
Hats off to the originator of the tracks for making the material available in the first place, and "luke warm, mediocre applause" for Snowy for putting them on CD

Given that all bootlegs are by definition "stolen" material, I am a bit puzzled by the hysteria which has accompanied this release.
--> KH: I partly agree with you, but it's the (lack of!) moral by the one's behind this "release" that has stirred up people, including me!
I am sure that the originator of this material on the web would not have wished to break the law by profiting from the distribution of the material to a wider audience, so what is the real problem here?
--> KH: My impression is that the person who made this material available on his Internet page, just wanted to share the material to the fans.
He gains nothing by doing this, just "taps on his shoulders" from the rest of us...
Obviously all fans on this forum are internet users, but you should not assume that every fan is an internet user just because you are. This Cd gives all fans a chance to hear this material, some of which is quite rare and in very listenable quality.
--> Once again I partly agree, but most people consider this "cd" just a rip-off! You have to remember that the source of this cd is mp3s in low quality! What the "stealers" have done, is apparently just to convert the mp3s back to wave files, and then they have burned the files onto this cd!
The loss in signal quality is therefore significant, and is another good reason to not buy a cd like this.
Have you heard the CD KH?
--> KH: No, I haven't heard the cd, but I've listened to most (if not all) of the tracks on the now well visited Internet site!
Let me also say that I don't have the slightest clue who's the persons behind this cd release, and I don't want to know it either!
