Really? There are a few standout performances like "Pledging My Love," "Way Down" and "Unchained Melody" -- but, there is also some real crap like "If You Love Me (Let Me Know)," "Little Darlin'" and the recycled "Let Me Be There." Another hodge-podge release. Poor Felton really wanted to put a solid album together and was forced to assemble a very mixed back of track varying in quality because his recording star had no interest and passion for crafting studio music.
Whatever the reason, his recording star should have not been subjected to recording and touring in the first place.
Poor Felton....?
You have no compassion for Felton? Even with his flaws as a producer, it isn't as if he received any help from Elvis in maximizing the potential of recording sessions as the 70's progressed. RCA wanted him out of the picture for failing to deliver quality albums and the proper number of masters required. Tom Parker was also not a fan. So, under a great amount of pressure, Felton goes into a session ready record a ton of music, and Elvis Presley is holed up at Graceland screwing around with little-to-no interest in recording or being professional. So, once again, Felton ended up with a lack of quality masters, some real lackluster recordings and was seen as a failure by RCA.

Will someone please get this loony outta here?
Dear sweet Roger Whitaker, I think I have heard it all now.
I used to think Rob was a proper Elvis fan![]()
