This album has been widely discussed lately, so I won´t do any longer comments. As I wrote earlier, this album is the one that I find hardest to give a listen. The songs are maybe not that bad, but Elvis sounds sooo bored at times (I know that Shanebrown has a different view). "Chesay" is awful and "Petunia,..." ain´t my cup of tea either. Those tracks has left the building! The title track is a lot better and I will give my vote to that track. I leave the rest of the tracks for you other members to comment. Beware of the sound quality of these recordings!
Vote on!!

"Please Don't Stop Loving Me"
Always a favourite of mine. Elvis sounds urgent and plaintive in his request and determined in his assertions.
I was surprised the first time I saw him sing this in Frankie and Johnny and realised that's where it was from, I'd always thought it belonged to a much earlier Elvis - beautiful.

"Please don`t stop loving me" got my vote, but I love "What every woman lives for" just as much.

It was a tough call between several great movie songs, but "Please Don’t Stop Loving Me" wins out against "Frankie and Johnny", "Hard Luck", and "Everybody Come Aboard".

Please don´t stop loving me is the winner here...and I hardly rememeber the melody of it (shame on me).
Thanks for voting!

I have said this a number of times over the years but I always laugh that the Rolling Stones stole one of the songs on here of all places. Listen to What Every Woman Lives For and She Smile's Sweetly on their Between The Buttons LP. It's the same damn song!

I have to check that out. "She smiled sweetly" is a bit obscure track.

Yeah both albums are obscure today and I am probably one of the very few people who own them both.

We are two

Not the best stones album but "Let´s spend the night together" is nice.

It's funny I really like that Stones album because I like Brian Jones, but they didn't intend Let's Spend The Night Together to be on it. That's actually the US lineup that included it. Let me know what you think after you relisten to She Smiled Sweetly.
