Best track on "Pot luck" LP 1962
Pot luck was one of the first three albums I owned as a child, so it has a special place in my heart. If I put the famous rose coloured glasses away, this album is still a pleasant listening. Not as solid as "Is back". It has a worse song than the worst on "Something for everybody", but also a better songs than the best ones on "Something for everybody. So I rank this one a little bit more interresting than SFE. The sound is also crispier, like the sound on is back. Two tracks has to go and I don´t care for "Fountain of love". I have nothing to complain about regarding "Steppin´ out of line", but it has that Radio recorders sound of Hollywood, as it was a outcut from "Blue Hawaii" (got it right this time?? ). So it feels like it doesn´t fit in here. But they probably needed a rocker to this soft album. I have three standout favourites on this album: "Suspicion" (should have been a single), "That´s someone you´ll never forget" (simply stunning performance) and "Gonna get back somehow" (Elvis heaviest production to date together with "Little sister". What a bass sound!). Today I put my vote on Elvis tribute to his own mother. But the cover! My wife laughs when she looks att Elvis´ hair

Too many favourites to choose from. I think Pot Luck has been underrated by too many fans!
If you add The Lost Album, I think the four-pack of Elvis Is Back, Something For Everybody, Pot Luck and The Lost Album are great on their own individual terms!
As such, the 60's Masters set is a pure goldmine, imo!

I also hate to drop tracks, but it´s a question of technology. You can´t have more than 10 options when you´re making a poll here.Suspicious Minds wrote:I voted for (Such an) Easy Question.
I don't know why you do these polls and drop tracks.
Other fans might like the tracks that are dropped.
Fountain of Love is my favourite track on the Pot Luck album.
I have explained that before on those polls (on the Elvis Presley LP poll.

I discovered this album in 1988, believe it or not LOL
Seriously, when I was younger, I just loved this cd to tears and it's quite ironic, (To me anyways), that I hardly ever listen to it at all these days.
I love all the songs, but I chose "(Such An) Easy Question".
