Sad news. He leaves behind an amazing body of work.
The Eagles' Desperado is one of my favorite songs. (Also love Linda Ronstadt's version. Wish Elvis would have recorded it.)

For me The Eagles are the greatest rock group of all time. Their songs and harmonies are outstanding. Glen Frey was a major part of their sound and success. He will be greatly missed.

a sad loss. I had heard he had medical problems in the last couple months but had no idea they were life threatening. A music legend and one of the best songwriters of all time and a member of one of the best bands of all time.

when I heard the sad news this morning, it was a real shock to me... he was a really talented song writer and singer.... loved The Eagles since their first album...
2016 is only a few days old .... Natalie Cole, David Bowie, Alan Rickman and now Glenn Frey ....
