Wow no post about what's happening in Ukraine and the peoples' of Maidan scream for democracy...

Bet Reagan wouldn't have allowed this kind of actions by Putin... Sanctions would have been imposed immediately...

And late Iron Lady is no longer with us too...

Yup, and the actions in Crimea.

Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurance.
"US, the UK and Russia pledge to respect Ukraine’s (...) territorial integrity".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Budapest_M ... Assurances

- once again days of respecting international law are gone, gone, gone - just like in Monachium '38. But such things in Europe in XXI century? Who would have thought...

- be careful Guidelines no. 4...................
Jesus where's freedom?

Anyway let's go back to Elvis.

Recently British PM David Cameron told the people who live in the Falkland Islands to vote who they want to be governed by, Britain or Argentina after the dispute between the two countries over the Islands and it was an overwhelming victory that the Islanders want to be Governed by Britain.

It seems the same sort of thing with Crimea.

Those that live in Crimea want to be governed by Russia and they voted for this.

Seems perfectly straight forward to me.

But imagine that the government in Argentina sends some soldiers there and then they ask them to vote. Because the Ukranian government doesnt approve that.

But I agree with you that territories with claims should be decided by the people living there like Gibraltar and some others.

I just hope this don't turn into a full-scale war with more innocent people getting killed.

Life is too precious.
