Following skatterbrane's lead, how about a run down of who is your favorite Beatle? This might tell a story about this board and its members.
I'll start and go with Harrison.

The two greatest contemporary popular songs ever written: McCartney's Yesterday and Lennon's Imagine.

I think Something deserves to be in that grouping of one of the greatest contemporary popular songs, and the number of people who covered it supports that inclusion.

I really don't have a favorite Beatle, i like them all equally.
My best friend since childhood was nick named Beatle, because when he was little his parents cut his hair like them, why i have no ider because it was the 80's, true story, and he has been called by that name ever since.

George. Love his guitar playing, and admire his lifelong pursuit of all things spiritual.

Paul, followed by John, George and Ringo, Pete and Stu.

I have mentioned before, I'm not a fan of The Beatles, although I love some of their lyrics.
I love Lady Beetles. The children's Nursery Rhyme, "Lady Beetle, Lady Beetle, fly away home, your house is on fire and your children are all alone" used to always soften me to their plight, and I'd be ever so gentle and respectful as I'd softly blow the little lady, to allow her to go home.

John, followed by George. Paul tries to act a little too cutesy for me.

When I was about 8, my form tutor asked us to name four beatles. I started listing off actual beetles
I did redeem myself once she stopped laughing.

Yeah, I find that annoying. Stevie Riks - British impressionist - has him down perfectly.

Don't like the Beatles. They are very overrated. They were no better than all those other 60s groups but all the others are now obscure.
I don't mind George Harrison because he was in the Traveling Wilburys. I remember reading that Elvis didn't like John Lennon.

No beatles for me either..
But again.. This is off-topic and shouldn't be in the ALL ELVIS section
