The Everly's are acknowledged as songwriters, and rightly so. However, they are not acknowledged as influential songwriters, and rightly so.
The Everlys should be acknowledged for their singing and performing first. They did not make their mark as songwriters. That has been my point from the start, but some here would rather blindly argue than admit that the facts bear this out. Or they simply lack the intellectual firepower to string together a coherent thought. ;-)

If you read and follow my posts I never said they were influential.

Let's say this and draw a line under it.

Singers? Yes.

Influential Songwriters? No.

I can go with that. :D

You chose to join the conversation.

So what you are conveying now is actually you failed to grasp what was being discussed.

I strongly suggest you read with more care before running off at the mouth and putting me down, because my post replies to an exact statement about their being "most influential."

Singers? Yes.

Songwriters? No.
Have a nice day.

It's time for you to grow up, and conduct yourself like an adult.

Maybe in future discussions we will find you reading with more care, so that the kind of rude behavior you exhibited here will be just an unpleasant memory.

Take care. ;-)
