Found this on YouTube, and was reminded that it is not the same everywhere, except for the joy. After seeing this, I think many probably feel a bit left out at this time of year.
Wishing a Merry Christmas to our members in (much) warmer climes! For those near to the equator, or actually "under" it, there's no need for sleighbells to make merry . . .

In the past Christmas and New Year's wishes were started mid-december, now it starts late November and loses it's effect IMO.
