Last Train To Memphis Audio Book

Wed Jul 17, 2013 6:26 am

I bought this audio book on iTunes about a week ago and have been listening to it on my mail route for the last few days.

It's about 21 or 22 hours long and I have really been enjoying it.

Is this book really accurate? I thought I remembered someone saying that is wasn't.

And Doc, I think I heard him thank you at the end of the book.

He was going on and on thanking people and I thought I heard him say your name.

I'm not sure if I know your last name for sure and I'm not going to write it here but if it was you then CONGRATS and very cool. :)

I also bought the 2nd book called Careless Love-The Unmaking of Elvis Presley. I have a feeling that this one will not be as fun to listen to as the first one was. :(

Anyway, just thought I'd ask what everyone thought of these books.

Thanks in advance.

Mitch

The best two Elvis books I have ever ever read. The first one is a delightful story of his uprising! Very factual and non-sugar coated.

I have the german audio book - the reader is horrible, very monotonous. I think I only made it to Disc 8 or 9 so far because I always fell asleep.

But I agree, they are the best books about our man. And "A Life In Music", too. 8)
