I like some of his recordings and his performances in the 50s are great. Funny looks his wild hair.

Quite high... I'd say Top Twenty.

Very low on my list.

A very talented pianist but his singing style kinda gets on my nerves. He inserts his name into just about everything (i.e. For The Good Times - "hear the whisper of the raindrops, rolling down ol' Jerry's window" etc) and he always strays from the melody too much for my own personal taste.

I saw him live in Memphis in the 90s he was ok but preferred his studio work

Same here! Next to his altogether style of performing (including that ever present piano, of course), his narcissistic personality has always been a problem for me. In the beginning it was kind of fun, the over-acting he did, but it really got under my skin after a few years.
But then again, Lewis was there when it started, he made a huge impact in the 50's, and he is just a part of it all. Have to say though I don't care for his later work at all.

"Now, shake it one time for Jerry Lee".
