What does that line mean anyway?
English is far from my native language, but does it say that a woman without love (i.e. no-one in particular love her in a romantic way) is nothing, while a man in the same
is half of a man? Is that right?
In that case, it has to be one of the stupidest statements ever in an EP song.

It's certainly one of the most embarrassing. Along with the 'What Every Woman Lives For' sentiment. Who wrote that rubbish?

And Tony, a coupe of things ...

1) Being single isn't the worst thing that can happen to you. Some people even find it empowering, and prefer it.

2) FECC, perhaps, might not be the best place for sympathetic relationship chatter. I mean, have you seen the "look at the tits on that" thread? It's a boy's club, innit?

I was actually complaining about some of the posts that dealt with pornography that a certain poster (was it EC-83?) would start. Why was I complaining? (Oh, hell, here I go letting my defenses down BIG-TIME!)

The reason I was doing MOST of the complaining was because I had fought an addiction to online pornography and seeing posts like that made me want to go back to it....and, me trying to live a good Christian life, I don't want to get back into that mess. All it does is destroy relationships (done did that).

Now do you understand?


Oh, and Bill Tanner....being single might be empowering to some but to me...it's a damn lonely place to be and I don't deal with it well...

Tony. Don't go play the field. That's the sinner's way. (Although none of us our righteous, no not one) Just pray, repent and give it to God. I've been frustrated because I can't get a date - but I think God has called me to be a eunuch as Jesus said in Matthew. Some of us men aren't meant to get married, we are meant to follow God and preach His gospel. It depresses me sometimes that I don't have a girlfriend or a wife, but God will allow me and bless me to have it - if He wanted me to have it. I had a bad addiction on one girl for over five years, and I've been a believer for two of those. So this won't be something you'll get over - overnight - but don't try to drown the sorrows with going out on the field for another woman. Whether you believe in God or not, or believe in Christ as the one and true savior - I would still recommend picking up the Bible (NKJV, NIV, ESV translation preferred, but it doesn't matter) and reading the gospel of John and just letting go. It is painful and it will take time, maybe years - but be willing to be healed because He does heal the broken hearted.

Have you told any ladies outside of this board anything about the shower setlists? Do you constantly play them recordings of C.C. Rider from 1976? Did you show them your version of What Now My Love that you had all of us sit through?

If you have answered YES to any of the above questions, it may be too late. However, if the answer is NO to all of the above questions, hang in there. It will happen soon enough. There is someone for everyone and you will find her eventually.

Shower setlists are way better. It helped cure my insomnia and high blood pressure issues. I swear by it. The hell with massage therapy & yoga.

1) Why wouldn't any single man play the field?
2) What's wrong with online pornography? If God didn't want us to see it, he wouldn't have put it there...
