This will definitely be one to pick up if it ever hits DVD/Blu-ray.

For anyone in Southern California, a special screening of this documentary will be held in Beverly Hills on February 9th. Nancy Sinatra will apparently be available for the Q&A as well:

Yes, indeed. Nice thread. I posted at length about this months ago! It already WAS in Southern California: in my hometown, too. I was there, and provided everyone here with a lotta stuff. Just sayin.' Didn't get a whole lotta feedback.

So I it's not best documentary I've never seen, because I saw it, and shared much here. Hope you all enjoy the return engagement to SoCal. I got Bill Medley: you'll get Nancy.

You got pictures there, video, everything! All about the film. Hope maybe you enjoy now.

You're kidding, I hope. (Likely not.) The guy (Tommy Tedesco's son, Denny Tedesco) is really working his tail off, trying to get this onto DVD, and the licencing of the music was WAY expensive, and it's around 16 years in the making, and if anyone ripped him off, that really stinks. This is a VERY special project. Man, I CONTRIBUTED money to his efforts, and there's people out there who would rip off someone who has worked SO hard to make this great tribute.

now this video is just not available in Australia and I gather very limited release in the USA in both cinemas and shops/

How can I get to see it without resorting to torrents

You do understand that you are in major breach of rights with your YouTube activity,

You do understand that you are in major breach of rights with your YouTube activity,
Different kettle of fish; THIS is a very special project made by a great musician's son, with love and enormous effort. And it has been quite a financial struggle. He wants to get it out on DVD, so you CAN see it. He wants *everyone* to see it. He's just asking for some help.

You could write to him about international showings in the meantime.

(He has been heavily burdened by the exorbitant licensing fees, and if the structure were changed, people would see his film a lot sooner. And he ASKED everyone to spread the word through social media!!! NO ONE had a camera lit during the film! But during the panel, the place lit up. He desperately needs attention to his film.)

(If you did, hypothetically, resort to downloading it, PLEASE make a generous donation. That's what's needed.)

YouTube has a growing royalty system set up. "Official" videos, once often paid for by the artists out of their royalties, are a dead form.

This is a film.

I am surprised to see that Scotty Moore as a member of The Wrecking Crew,

If this based on him playing on a few tracks in Hollywood then many thousands would qualify ........ which is ridiculous.
