New Old Music?

I was looking on Amazon for free songs and I found music made by somebody named Nick Waterhouse. When I heard it I wondered if it was genuinely old or if it was made to sound old. Then I discovered that the album the song came from was released in 2012 and so I listened to other songs by him and I found this one. Tell me what you think about it.

Waterhouse was born in 1986. He's old school without being slavish, a la Chris Isaak.

It's good. Thanks for finding. A lot of recent artists (Imelda May, Eilen Jewell and JD McPherson among them) are doing vintage sounding music mome and more these days. It provides an alternative to the current pop scene which has remained unchanged for over 10 years now and is going nowhere as everything has now been done.
