John Wilkinson in Hospice Care

Postby elvisjock » Wed Jan 02, 2013 9:39 pm

Various sources are reporting that John was sent home, to hospice care, after a recent hospitalization. He's been chronically ill for some time.

Bless his heart.

John is definitely one of the good guys.

My mom is under the same conditions. I hope John has his family around him, and he is in my thoughts and prayers.

Awful news. John has always been very supportive and protective of Elvis, and is definitely one of the good guys. I had the pleasure of interviewing John many years ago, and he was so cordial, and so giving of his time. I'll never forget that.

John, I'm very sorry to learn of your mom's condition. We had hospice care for my mom and it was very helpful. They are truly doing God's work.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. Mom left us this morning, but it was expected, and merciful.

I sincerely hope John Wilkinson is doing better.

Enjoy every day. Yesterday is gone, and tomorrow is never promised.

John, my deepest sympathies.

If "Curb" helps you through, so be it. I recall the episode where Larry misses his mother's funeral. He was in New York, working, and, as his dad tells him, "She didn't want to bother you." Jewish humor at its finest.
