Kindness on FECC!

Many people today don't even know their neighbors, and so many are estranged from family, that a lot of people are very lonely. Nowhere to find a community when they are troubled, sick, or experience a loss. Nor even a place to share joy with a community of folks they know.

That's not a problem for regular FECC members, and all you have to do is a search. You'll see caring, support, concern - especially in times of need.. An oasis in an often barren society. As in the old U.S. TV series Cheers, we've got a place to go. Sure we fuss at each other, but when the chips are down, especially, this is way better than some old bar. ("Cheers" was set in a bar, where everyone knew everyone. And boy, did they fight! But they always returned.)

Facebook? If not for FECC, I wouldn't know too many people there. I wouldn't have even upgraded my 'net service, probably, so I wouldn't be on there. Maybe for business. I dunno.

I know the community that matters most to me now is right here.

It's almost two years now, and I'm so glad I found this place. Thank you so much.
