Strange, since Carpenter never accepted this as a factor when it comes to Elvis shows from '75-'76.

I've seen Macca live 3 times and every show has been a thrill. The last show I saw was a year ago. It is true that his voice isn't as good as it was 40-50 years ago but that's hardly a surprise. He is strugling when trying to hit the high notes but this was already happening 10 years ago. None of the shows I've seen has his voice sounded that bad though.

I've seen macca live 8 times and on all of them he was great.
Maybe it's the South American air?

Strange?

Explain to us when Elvis Presley, in shows from '75-'76, pulled out surprise numbers he'd never done live, and performed them flawlessly in his three-hour set.

Such an event would most certainly have been a thrill indeed. But this never happened.

Do correct me if I am mistaken. ;-)

No you don't.
I'm currently melting! 36°C dammit.

And Paul doesn't even bother to introduce his band on his 160 minute show.
At the end of the concert he just says "And thank you to my fantastic band!!!". That's it.
Elvis, eat your heart out :D
