Ipad Mini

Has anyone bought this yet? It looks amazing! I can't really afford to get it right now but I'm definitely gonna buy this in a few months time, that is of course if no one gets it for me for Christmas, which I doubt because it's quite expensive.

i would hate to watch anything on such a small screen

I love my iPad2, but I can see where avid readers would enjoy the smaller screen for ebook apps.

Be carefull out there.

The iPod Mini does not have Retina display.

But I bet the mark 2 model will.

I've had a 7" Galaxy Tab since last November 12. It's a total ripoff! (That part is true.)

Why . . . why, Samsung should SUE! I'll bet it has ROUNDED CORNERS, too!



rjm (Getting the new Galaxy Note II, very soon. Even taking the hit of the ETF to do it. It's got Jelly Bean, awesome processor, a screen almost as big, the S-Pen, remarkable functionality, and an PHONE in it! I won't need two devices! I just have to get around that danged "share plan.")

For the price it is a better deal to get a refurb iPad 3 from the Apple online store, it's not much more and you get the retina screen along with newer tech inside. They come with new batteries and backs.

I'm in the camp that iPad Mini will be updated next year, it's a nice idea - but in its current form doesn't seem entirely worth it.

The same with me, i really like the black version of iPad mini. Which one You will choose ? Also there is one thing i don't like about it - it doesn't have Retina display But that shouldn't be a big problem right ? I have iPhone 4 and Retina is amazing, i read that buying iPad mini is like moving from iPhone 4 to 3GS (because of the screen) but i don't think that this is such a big deal. I'm gonna get it anyway, cause i like Apple products (only the price in Poland is ridiculously high, but it's worth it !) Or maybe Santa will... oh...

I'll be getting the black one. I don't think the screen will be bad as you think, it's only 7.9 inch screen and a resolution of 1024x768 would look great! If there will be another release with a better resolution then I'll just upgrade to it.
