Paging the Doc,Beatles Question...

Wed Oct 10, 2012 7:47 am

Can you tell me what was the 3rd track that Jeff Lynne and the surviving Beatles worked on at the time of "Real Love" and "Free As A Bird"as Paul McCartney said in a recent Jeff Lynne doc that they may finish the recording
Apparently George rejected it as rUbbish at the time

I'm sure 'Grow Old With Me' was mentioned, but I can't guarantee it was the track in question.

As much as I like John Lennon, (and I do!) if the 3rd track was "Grow Old with Me" then George made the correct decision.

It might have been. All we have is a scribbled note. Had John not been killed, we'd know the answer.
