Rather than whiny liberals I think the deletions have more to do with people objecting to politics and or religion (the same for Republicans) in the first place. A lot of folks on those threads complained about too much political talk.

There have been complaints in the past about too many Elvis In Concert threads and I don't think any of those got deleted.
