I'm a Lions fan, but for that to be an issue, is really lame. Nothing inappropriate done by Harbaugh at all. imo.

Best of luck to your Lions!

Yeah, things will happen when you have an emotionally-charged finish like that. Both coaches would probably do things a bit differently if they had it to do over, and neither one was really wrong.

On a broader scale, the postgame handshake isn't really necessary, in my opinion.

It is unfortunate it overshadowed what the Lions and 49ers teams did, they played a hard fought game. After 60 minutes of well-played football, all anyone remembers from the battle was the post-game handsake.

I'm sure both coaches will handle it better next time...when the Lions lose to the Bears at Soldier Field and the Bears beat the 49ers at Candlestick. Lovie will show them how it's done, like he did with Atlanta Falcons head coach Mike Smith after their game in Chicago on Sept. 11. The Bears won 30-12.

Jim sure had his ego deflated in Seattle, and it looks like today isn't going too well either!!!!!

Correct. It seems odd to see someone keep bringing up a team that didn't even make the NFC Championship.
