crowded the stores were with Bama fans buying a little
piece of history. Some silly shirts and some that are

I heard about this; it's nuts! Had something to do with the Heisman. How stupid! (But everyone LIKED the story, and didn't want to spoil it. So they let it linger as long as possible. Even the L.A. Times went at it gently even today, when they're supposed to be the big-boy journalists. As though he really were the "victim" of this. )
