Frank Sinatra

Frank Sinatra would have been 92 today.

Frank had a fatal heart attack in 1998, when aged 82.

A veteran US crooner, Frank had Elvis on his tv show in 1960.

[Thanks Rob for the reminder]

Then I have to spoil it all by saying something stupid like I love you. However, it is no problem because the lady is a tramp.

Happy Birthday Frank!!!
I'm in a middle of reading his biography called All The Way. Quite an interesting read.
Before Elvis there was Frank

LOL !

As I was growing up, it was always being debated who was the better singer - Sinatra or Crosby.

A popular theory was that Frank was 'technically' superior, the phrasing and all that, but that the timbre of Bing's voice had a 'warmer' and 'more friendly' sound.

With the advent of rock 'n' roll - it didn't matter any more !

They were both irrelevant for a while !
