The Fugitive TV Series

#411066

Post by Suspicious Minds »

The Fugitive TV Series starring David Janssen is my all time favourite programme. Can't wait to get it on Region 2 DVD.
The last episode drawed the biggest television audience in August 1967. The streets in the United Kingdom was the quietest the police had ever seen at the time. People were glued to their TV's to see the outcome of the last episode. This series ran for 4 years from 1963 to 1967. I think this was the best made TV programme ever.

It was great, wasn't it ?

How did they manage to keep our interest for so long ?

I thought that nasty Lt. Gerard did it !

And David Janssen seemed to be in every American series or made-for-tv one-off going around that time !

Colin, I wish they show this series from the start to the end again on British TV.

To this day I think he fooled everyone. He was really guilty.

But he found the one-armed guy, didn't he ?

I thought he did find a one arm man but it was not the right one.
The real Richard Kimble or the person this story is based on was convicted by using modern DNA tests 30 years later. Because of that the series was not shown anymore. Why was that?
Here is the one arm man.

I don't know about the one armed man but did he stay in the same city while Kimble travelled all over USA?
