Did you know.........

Wed Apr 12, 2006 4:55 pm

The father of Lonnie Donnegan was in fact not a dustman and sued him for spreading the rumour via a top ten hit in the 1960's which ascertained that he was. The case was thrown out of court on the surprise admission by Mr Donnegan senior that while he had never worn a dustman's hat he did indeed own six pairs of cor blimey trousers.

My Grandad went to London once. He said it was a sh*t hole full of Cock-er-neys. But he came back with Cor Blimey trousers and I still have them. Are they worth anything?

He said they might once have belonged to Adam Faith, but I never really believed him.

Oh, and do you keep your beer in the sideboard? That's what those cheeky Chas & Dave chappies told me. Cor blimey :!:

Babblefish was unable to translate this thread..........and I know, since Colin is here, that you are not a bunch of snakehandlers speaking in tongues.

Therefore, I've petitioned the U.N. to send a translator.

Anyone have a Rosetta Stone???

I'd go along with the Northern Delboy, but I think Southern is more of a running gag in the Kumars.
