Orange ya glad I didn't comment.

Mac/Apple Computers would be missing out on a revolutionary new aspect of technology to adhere to that shortsighted '92 agreement which is just another illustration of the Beatles and their ego and their greed and their intimidating control freak attempts.

The Beatles' Apple Logo is prehistoric and defunct.
It's the equivilent of the Oldsmobile logo, the Squirt Soda logo,
the Clark Gas logo, and other bygone extinct mascot images..

The Beatles' apple logo is simply not viable enough nor active enough
nor prominent enough to win such a ridiculous lawsuit.

Other than being a nostalgic name for a group of attorneys still making sure Paul McCartney and Yucko Ono get paid properly by EMI.............
Apple Records Corp. serves no purpose whatsoever ANYMORE
in the world of music - which is what the whole suit was about.

MUSIC.

When was the last time Apple signed a new artist? 1974?

Lennon's 1979 record deal was with Geffen! Not Apple.
It just didn't exist very long.

Of course, the remaining Beatles can sue you 3 ways! over logos of:
1. a green apple with its skin on
2. a red apple with it's skin on
3. an apple sliced in half (the B Side logo)

It is to laugh.

Well, The Beatles have lost their case, anyway.

Sir Paul and Ringo and the estates of John & George have got to stump up £5 million in costs.

Probably becaue it(iTunes) is considered a new technology, and not a record company per se. Surprises me as well.

Actually, no.

But those are about the two kindest adjectives one may apply to your "input" on this MB.

How are things in "Chat-Talk"? Can you hear them calling you? Go -- hurry, hurry, hurry!

God bless!

 thanks

But i do fear that Applebees is next to be sued by The Beatles

Each Applebbe's restaurant has that big ol' outdoor red apple you can see a mile away, and inside they transmit MUSIC on their intercom system!

Apple image? Music distribution?
