I think Cryogenic's opinion expresses my sentiments perfectly.
Dana Reeve was a selfless person who exhibited supreme grace in the face of terrible adversity. She stood by her man, championed stem cell research, and tirelessly volunteered for a cause which benefits many. At the same time, she pushed her career goals to the side and did her best to provide a semblance of a normal family life to her disabled husband and her young son.
Many regular people battle adversity against terrible odds. She happened to do it in the public eye with wonderful style and grace.
To suddenly succumb to a lung cancer with so much fight in her was tragic.
I cannot fathom the loss that their poor son must endure.
Elvis would've been lucky to have had such a woman in his life.
