An incredible live album

Last weekend I finally picked up a Waylon Jennings cd that's been on my to get list for quite some time. It's called Waylon Live, and it's a greatly expanded version of an earlier (mid-70's) album. Holy smokes folks, this is one terrific country-rock record! I highly recommend it. You Asked Me To is on there, as is We Had It All, which Elvis tried at the Dec. '73 Stax sessions, but dropped because he felt he couldn't improve it. Waylon was the real deal. What a band, what a voice (like the voice of God talking to moses out of the burning bush :) ). Get this cd, you won't be disappointed.

I've had it for a couple of years now. There are too many highlights to name them all. A couple would definitely be Loving Her Was Easier (Than Anything I'll Ever Do Again, Anita You're Dreaming and Big Ball In Cowtown.

There are plenty more. Check it out yourself. Highly recommended.
