Red West in ROADHOUSE

Tue Nov 22, 2005 10:50 am

I'm sittin' here scannin', when suddenly I stop to check out a scene from ROADHOUSE, the 1989 film starring Patrick Swayze in HD on my new DELL LCD flat screen Tv.

I can't buleeve the pic quality, but anyway, Red West is in this film and I jus couldn't help but notice how old he looked by 1989. I mean, by '89 Red would have been about 53, 54 years old, right :?:

hell, my dad is 58 and he still loooks great.

Anyway, I'm still watchin' and Red's acting skills seem to be worthy of my mentioning it. he's actually not bad. makes me think what would have been if Elvis had lived and remained friends with Red and the endless possibilites of maybe making amovie that E could have been unconditionally proud of.

Anybody remember Red in this film :?:

Anybody care that I'm even mentioning this :?:

Yes i noticed how old Red had got by the 80`s, he looks real rough now, though Sonny looks real good for a guy of his age.

Red's always been a more than adequate actor... better than EP ever was.
And ROADHOUSE is a great flick!!!

Red was the only reason I watched that movie. He was also pretty good in "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer." He was in that, right?
