Shame. I was just watching an interview with her on Ultimate Elvis (Definitive Elvis) a couple of nights ago.

Sheree North, who aged gracefully from a platinum blond bombshell in the 1950s to older character roles in television productions including "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and "Seinfeld," has died. She was 72. North, who had been healthy, died Friday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles of complications from surgery, daughter Dawn Bessire said. North initially was groomed as a glamour girl who could substitute for the often-unreliable Marilyn Monroe and did in fact replace Monroe in the 1955 film "How to Be Very, Very Popular." (AP)

Sheree was 72? She lived a good long life. May she rest in peace. We just got the Charlie Varrick DVD a few months ago. She always gave a great performance.
