This system requires the purchase of specially coded CD's
It allows you to break a song down into 8 or 16 track if rcorded that way.
For example Elvis' On Stage 1970 could be broken down into 8 discrete tracks - then you could eliminate the piano, punch up the bass, lower the vocal etc etc etc. In other words create your own mix.
There is no indication that SONY/BMG are interested.
