Elvis is sure to benifit from the growing amount of publicity "King of the Mountain" by Kate Bush is receiving..another learned article in the respected, "the Guardian" newspaper yesterday. Luckily for us it's onsale here in Ireland at our local supemarkets.

The "King of the Mountain" song's video will be played on the British Channel 4 TV on Sunday next. (Maybe some Elvis imagery?)

Milhouse,
Just mentioning Elvis' name in yet another one of your fawning Bush threads does not warrant it being in the All Elvis section. You, of all people, are old enough to know this.

Listen to "King of the Mountain" by Kate Bush on this moving thread:-) Does it remind you of, "I Forgot to Remember to Forget", or am I just imagining things?

When I am so busy, mistakes are made, but they are usually corrected in time.

What a beautiful day it was yesterday, and today will be the same, the sun is already lighting up our Solar panels.

Milhouse,
Your obsession with Ms. Bush is borderline frightening. I guess we should look at the bright side, though. Your unhealthy obsession with 12-year-old boys seems to be waining.................at least for now.

Judging by your fixation with Ms. Bush, I'm pretty sure we all know what you're busy doing. Careful, they say if you do that too long, you'll go blind.
Hey, that explains the glasses!!!!!Image

Will Power is a killer:-) Kate Bush 15 November "King of the Mountain" on TV Channel 4 10.40pm ish .

The amount of positive coverage the very talented Kate Bush is getting in the press is very heartening indeed.

A little sophistication in the popular music charts will be most welcome.

Maurice,

I can't tell if it's my imagination or not but,can I hear a sample of Elvis's voice in the backing after the verse "The wind it blows, the wind it blows the door closed"?

I wonder if they've done something with his voice?

Looking forward to the single and album.

Hello Dan_T, Yes Iv'e read there is an "Elvis like" voice to be heard on "King of the Mountain". I can't quite make it out on my computer speakers with these old ears, and will have to listen on my CD player when I get the single.

Plenty of very interesting and intelligent discussion about it on the Kate Bush websites.

We will be watching the video of the song on the British Channel 4 TV 10.40pm tonight. It's hinted it will be on the WWW very soon afterwards:-) Hear and see it now http://www.katebush.com click on the video link to the bottom right.

The Kate Bush/Elvis Presley link was a touch of genius. Keeps the news high on google:-)
