what do i do for a living?

i sit on my glutus maximus in front of a computer (in bed actually); eat a lot of quesadillas and grilled cheeses; do minimal homework for french, italian, & spanish; go to aforementioned classes while being chouffered by my dad; watch tv; ramble in 4 languages to my parents who don't have a clue what i'm saying; listen to elvis on my computer; and i think i sleep a little--when i'm not insomnia queen.

yeah, i don't work, pay bills, do dishes, nada. lazy bum moocher here.

the one break i give my parents is that i hate malls and shopping with a passion, so my upkeep is pretty minimalist.

Do for a living ?

I gave up all ideas of working again in 1998 !

My previous employer kindly deposits a nice sum in my bank account once a month, so the bills get paid.

The government will make a contribution too, in a couple of years !

Can't be bad, can it ?

I founded a little business called SFX Entertainment a few years back. We've done pretty well with it and it keeps me busy.

I'm a building inspector. I used to be the head of one of the busiest building inspection departments in the State of S.C., but I left that job almost 3 years ago in order to preserve what remained of my sanity. I also felt a strong desire to get back in the field instead of being pinned to a desk and phone.

I am a musician and writer. I used to work in libraries (Shhh) but was forced to give that up more than a year ago due to illness. Heard a great joke on Virgin Radio today:

When I was a child, I used to have a newt. I called him Tiny because he was my newt.

I'll admit, Stephen, that I didn't quite catch that until I repeated that out loud.
