I watched Melinda and Melinda last night and, although it contained Woody Allen's usual hangups, found it to be a very entertaining, well structured movie.
I happen to be a big Woody Allen fan, and have seen almost all of his films. There is always something new in each one, even if the themes seem to be almost identical in every film.
Anyone care to share their thoughts on Woody Allen?

I've always liked Woody Allen's work. He can be a little repetitive though and probably peaked comedically many years ago. I also have a couple of his books, which are full of the slightly absurd wit that characterised much of his early work. Fave film is probably Take the Money and Run. I love the parents in their Groucho disguises and the gub/gun confusion in the bank

The most annoying person on earth and overrated "talent". I have never seen a movie of him that could hold my interest for more than 3 minutes.
Watching the TV-test-signal is more exciting!
