On November 21st this year I will be exactly the same age as Elvis was when he died.......er, that's it, a bit morbid I know

Colin,
Yes! You are!! Age is in the eyes of the beholder and in how you handle yourself!! You're younger than I am!!! Go over to Elviscrawler and look in the joke area. Steve has a joke in there that is pertinent. I can see you through my computer. You are a teen!! Besides you love E!! An Elvis person NEVER grows older than about 32.

39. Physically that is.
Mentally much younger I think and hope.
Indeed probably about 32.

Colin,
I’ve been thinking about your post, and I think I’ve been taken. You remind me of a kid I had my first year of teaching. At least once every week he would do something naughty so that I would have to keep him after school for a talk. I would always sit in the row next to him on a desk. He would sit at his desk and stare at my legs and every once in awhile say, “Yeah, Teach” or “Sure, Teach.” (He must have seen Blackboard Jungle on TV and been really impressed with it because he never called me by my name, it was always, “Teach.’”)

What I’m getting at is that you are probably the most loved person on this board. Every time you post something people kid you about your age or whatever you are talking about. I know that if someone teases you, they really love you. I found that out that first year of teaching, when we had a small fire. After it was over, one of the older teachers (they were all older than a first year teacher) said, “Sue was out there running around yelling, ‘Who has the hot dogs? Who has the hot dogs!!” I loved that man, and I know he liked me!!

And, EVERYONE here loves YOU!! That bit with the teeny, tiny “I’m not.” was your bit of a joke, wasn’t it?

Oui, oui!

For those on this side of the pond who are not French conversant:
Wee wee!

And you are most welcome!

The French have a very strange way of spelling. Do they have spelling bees in France?
