I would like to know more information about Mark James. Did he ever recorded any song, his life? I tried to have some info on the internet but too few I found...
Any help I appreciate it.

Best Regards

It probably won't help too much but I read that he did record "Suspicious Minds" but went nowhere with it.

There is an import I think called "The Originals" which has the original version of many pop classics including James' "Suspicious Minds." It also has Del Shannon's version of "(Marie's the Name) His Latest Flame."

He also worked with Red west in the 60"s...hence why EP heard SM.

When I saw Mark in Memphis (during EW 05), he said that he recorded a version of "Moody Blue" (about two years before Elvis did it), and that it was a Top 5 hit in South Africa.

I didn't know Del Shannon had the original on that !

It's interesting to know,(I googled it) that "failed attempts to record the number had been made by Bobby Vee and Bobby Darin"

I listened to Shannons version,it's good, but sounds dated.
