Kev -

I fear they've left it too late !

Will be interesting to see, if only for the novelty of them being together again.

"What about a sequel to 'Butch Cassidy'?"
"Well, the guys died in it, what is it going to be, a spiritual film?"

LOL....

Newman and Redford. My heroes. And those blue eyes *sigh*
Brilliant actors. There will never be a better duo in the celebrity world of filmmaking again. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Spark gone? Who knows, but I wouldn't mind, because just to see them together again would be a dream come true. Maybe Clint Eastwood will suggest something, and then of course, direct it as well.

Robert and Paul pose for a photo on the set of "The Sting". Their co-star, Robert Shaw (who played bad guy Lonnegan) quipped that "the National Guard was needed to hold back the crowds when Newman and Redford were around!"

They both have been looking to work on a film with each other since the mid 70"s,but nothing has been that good for them to go for it.

No...it aint going to be the up (less drink there sam) and at them like the Sting etc, just have to wait and see.
