Newman and Redford. My heroes. And those blue eyes *sigh*
Brilliant actors. There will never be a better duo in the celebrity world of filmmaking again. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Spark gone? Who knows, but I wouldn't mind, because just to see them together again would be a dream come true. Maybe Clint Eastwood will suggest something, and then of course, direct it as well.
Robert and Paul pose for a photo on the set of "The Sting". Their co-star, Robert Shaw (who played bad guy Lonnegan) quipped that "the National Guard was needed to hold back the crowds when Newman and Redford were around!"
