Swamp Thing on DVD (Don't be fooled)

Several folks have asked me about the DVD of Swamp Thing being released next week. It is NOT, repeat NOT, the uncut version with the famous/infamous Adrienne Barbeau and gypsy scenes. This is the much tamer version (about 2 minutes shorter) and not the one that has become legend. You can still readily find the uncut one, though.

Why would they release this crappy version? So this one doesn't show Barbeau's, uh, assets? The hell with that, I'll have to search out the original, theatrical version.
