Classic Sopranos episode

The one where Christopher and Pauly are stranded in the woods is an absolute classic. I believe it's from season 3, though I could be wrong. Not only does it have it's tremendous serious moments, it's frickin hilarious!

That and it shows how weak they really are.... Eating ketchup. lol

Yes, most all of episodes of "The Sopranos" are classics, or will be.

They certainly will age like mini-movies, given the production
values HBO and the creators insist upon.

But I have to say they really are taking forever in finishing each season.

They sure know how to milk it.

What other show gets away with saying, "that's a wrap,
and we'll see you in a year and a half," which feels like
two years to the viewer?

I wonder if this turns anybody else off?

Besides, I thought the last season showed signs that it had
"jumped the shark, as they say.

They're filming the new season now, plus extra future
episodes, probably for a DVD.

I have enjoyed all the seasons..but season one is the only true classic. When taking in its entirety, I believe it stands with alot of other greats. Jumping the shark is something I have heard about, but alas I stopped after season 4. I would probably still like it.

The episode your talking about is called PINE BARRENS and is featured on Disc 4 on the Complete 3rd Season...

That episode is still one of my favs, along with HOUSE ARREST!

Genesim, "jump the shark" is an expression of when a show begins to
go down-hill! (It's inspired by the 2-part episode of Happy Days
when the Fonz jumped over those sharks on a motorcycle..)

Greg I absolutely know what you are talking about. I was referring to the Sopranos "jumping the shark"!

P.S. I don't care what people say..that was a kick ass Happy Day's episode.

Being still in the "single digits," I thought the same thing back in '78.

I say the show jumped when they added a soundtrack and began
focusing on the Fonz and not Ron Howard.
