Country Music DVD's in the States or anywhere else

#14187

Post by Joe Lightcloud »

Anybody tell me, what country music DVDs are available, or have been available, in the states, or anywhere else by artists such as Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Tammy Wynette, George Jones, Tanya Tucker, Charlie Rich, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and so on, not the modern country singers, more the older type, country singers.

Because I tell you, there is not much in UK. Not much at all.

You Americans don't know how lucky you are, when it comes to Country Music.

Are these all available in Sweden.

I have one of the Jerry Lee DVDs, but it's American and I think the Willie Nelson live in Amsterdam is available here, or at least it was. Unless they have deleated that one by now.

What about VHS, is there many on that.

I have a video called "Country Love Songs" and it as some great stuff on, but you only get a couple of songs by say "Waylon" then a couple by "Charlie Pride" and so on. I am after the complete shows, I have the "George Jones" on DVD, "Waylon Jennings" on VHS, and that's it I think.

The Bear Family discs are available here, Bob Luman, Johnny Cash, Cochran, Vincent, Collins Kids, I think there is another one I can't remember. How much are they in Sweden, the Bear Family ones. I went into the HMV record shop, yesterday and they are £21 each.

Unbelievable, they are only half an hour long, each, I think.

£7. 54 each, are they region 2

Are they both the same concerts, or are they different shows, what's the CD.

Good God, I didn't know it was that long, I have the Eddie Cochran one on VHS and it's only half an hour or so long. I presume the Johnny Cash one is all black and white is it.

I might have to get that I reckon.

The 2 Charley Pride DVD

It's look like they are alike.
They have the exact same songs in the exact same order.

I bet they are the same show, I wouldn't mind getting hold of one of them, but.... how?.

Plus all the money is different.

Difficult.

I just came across the Bear Family (Cash Luman) for the price of 19,04 each.

Are they still pretty expencive?

If you have a broadband or adsl internet-connection, why not check out the Amazon affiliates? Prices differ, even at various countries' like
http://www.amazon.com

Or go to your local Ebay, click "smart search", click "available to (insert your country)" and type the name of your favourite artist. Then go to DVD.
You then can repeat it with any name and you get the DVD's available to your country by that artist through Ebay.

This way I got quite a few great rock and roll and fifties' music DVD's and Elvis Presley phonecards.
