My only surprise is the blatantly obvious exclusion of any deleted scenes from the first two films. For instance, I know that there were several scenes with Jack shot and processed before being edited out of the final film. Not that I'm complaining, though. I've been holding off buying the bare bones discs for some time knowing that these were in production.

You know the treatment that have given all the films looks truly amazing. DTS tracks!!! Oh yeah!! I may not like all the films, but I certaintly applaud the effort.

Maurice, get a f*cking life! This is one joker that needs banned.

Thanks for the update, Tom! I hadn't checked on these DVDs for a while, but hearing this news has made me excited all over again. I'll surely be buying the set as soon as it's available. (Even if it does mean having to keep the despicable Batman & Robin in my house!)

One thing I think is a bit silly, however, is that the new Batman Begins isn't included in the set, nor does the artwork for the DVD of that film match the artwork for the DVDs listed above. Much like for the James Bond series, I'd like to create a single set of DVDs that fits together as a whole (and looks nice on the shelf!), and one would think that Warner Bros. would wish to stimulate that as well. Making the new films and the old seemingly separate properties would surely work against this.
